Dear Beloved Community,

February is arriving with a focus on loving- especially with all that is swirling in our world… Intentions are set, candles lit, hearth warm, harmonies ready, and hearts wide open. We’re stepping into a month of deep studio focus, intimate concerts, delicious shared meals, movement, and connection — and we would love to gather with you. Our sense of belonging and ability to gather matters even more now, and our self-care (self-love) and ability to know what “love looks like” to ourselves and those around us will nourish, inspire, and motivate us with all that is to come, and all that is so dearly needed.

These upcoming Honey of the Heart events are designed as living rooms of the soul — places to soften, sing, feel, breathe, and remember that community is medicine.

Here’s what’s unfolding this month:

💛 Valentine’s House Concert + Food — Oakland — February 13
Doors open at 5:30 pm with sensuous food and connection from 5:30–6:30, followed by an intimate Honey of the Heart concert. Come solo or with someone dear — this night celebrates every form of love: self, friendship, and shared humanity. Expect warmth, laughter, and sing-along moments woven with deep listening.

🌹 HeartForm Valentine’s Event — San Francisco — February 14
A collaborative evening show with friends and featured artists, workshops, food, and tea. A more electric, city-night expression — soulful, rhythmic, and alive. With awesome artists such as Kr3ture, Mah-Ze-Tar, and more. Come ready to feel and move. 

🌀 CoCrea Valentine’s Dance Workshop — Grass Valley @The Hearth — February 15 · 3–5 pm
An embodied movement experience centered on connection, consent, creativity, and presence. No dance experience needed — just a willingness to show up as you are. Playful, relational, and heart-forward.

🍽️ The Hearth House Concert + Dinner —Grass Valley @The Hearth — February 15 · Evening
A full nourishment night — shared meal followed by a Honey of the Heart house concert. Beautiful food, beautiful people, beautiful songs. Limited seating for a truly intimate experience.

This song is a tender, powerful love song to the self. Composed by Justin Ancheta, this is a personal, vulnerable, and raw expression of one's process through self-discovery, self-claiming, and a returning to the self at the core of love and belonging. We have seen our audience members be so incredibly and deeply moved by this song, and since its inception, we have heard the query again and again: “Where do I find this song?” Well, now the answer is here! ✊ Holding Space for Peaceful Justice

We want to name and honor the peaceful protests gathering today, January 30th, and beyond — including those in solidarity with Minnesota communities — calling for immigrant dignity, humane treatment, and accountability in enforcement practices, and safety for people of color everywhere. We stand for nonviolence, for human worth, and for the power of peaceful civic presence. We believe peaceful protest is part of a living democratic heartbeat — conscience expressed through courage and care. Thank you for taking the time to read and feel this with us. It matters so much.

If you’ve been meaning to come to a show, a workshop, or a circle — this is a potent month to say YES. Bring a friend. Bring your voice. Bring your whole, human self. You are a precious part of the whole, and we need each other.
