Summer and Fall Shows Happening!

We are excited to get back on the road mid-month of August. We have been grounded for about a month since our RV broke down in Redding, on our way to OCF this year. We then got hit with a bunch of viruses coming through our family, and a break-in at Soul Graffiti Studios in the bay, and just praying things will correct in the coming months. Thank you for being here on this ride with us. Out of all the times to feel your support, through struggles, trials, and tribulations, we always feel it the most. Thank you for staying with us and supporting our artistic creations.

 

We are also pleased to announce the monthly support donors that help us to keep creating music and staying on the road with our tours. Our most recent plan is to head south to Mexico from December through March, touring many states and provinces between California and Gerrero, Mexico. UMA SHUNGO: Mind &Heart Midwifery Center

UMA SHUNGO : An Ecuadorian non -profit foundation that is dedicated to serve families and make quality healthcare more accessible to all people. Uma Shungo is a midwifery run family resource center located outside of Quito Ecuador. The center weaves together modern medicine and ancient midwifery traditions. “Uma Shungo” is a common kichwa phrase that means- Mind & Heart Connection. The goal of this center is to create community, improve the maternal and infant health outcomes, and celebrate the unique cultures and birth traditions of Ecuador. All midwifery services are donation based so all women and their families regardless of socioeconomic status are supported throughout their fertile years, pregnancy, post partum, and menopausal wise woman years. This center offers Ecuadorian families childbirth education classes, sex education, yoga and wellness, prenatal care and nutrition guidance, post partum/lactation support groups, mental health services, baby check up visits. Uma Shungo is a place that honors the unique indigenous midwifery customs and integrates medical trainings and tools to keep midwifery alive.

Come climb into some magic soup with Honey of the Heart as they bring their dynamic music, special guests, and full range of emotional and sonic nectar for your body and soul. Justin Ancheta and Maren Metke have musical nectar flowing through their veins. The dynamic Grass Valley duo are the driving force behind a project that is even sweeter than it sounds. Honey of the Heart is an ambrosial mix of musical interpretations influenced by folk, soul, roots and world/flamenco styles. Built upon a repertoire of uplifting original material, they join together with other phenomenal musicians to create in an organic state of symbiosis. Many of their songs come forth like ancient incantations, casting angelic spells on all in their path. Honey of the Heart weaves soaring harmonies and hypnotic polyrhythms into an alchemical semblance of groove intended for dancing, rejoicing and blissful recalibration.
